4 Questions with Bull Lee
Sleazy. Dirty. Usually these are words with negative connotations. In the case of LA’s Bull Lee, it’s as positive as we can mean it. With a sound that can be described as Iggy Pop meets Hole, Bull Lee’s music is a mix of west coast attitude with east coast glamour. Here’s what they said on their 4 Questions:
1) Why should people pay attention to your band?
Bull Lee is a modern day rock n’ roll band that blends classic Ramones-era punk elements with a harder edge sex appeal, and a live show that rivals any band out there today. Lead singer Trisha Hanudel is a front person in the vein of Johnny Rotten or Iggy Pop, whose absence of inhibition onstage and physical self expression is an art form in and of itself.
2) Why did you decide to give Mohawk Bomb a try?
We get lots of offers to buy into “compilations” and this one just seemed more legit. Ivan is cool, and the contract was well put-together.
3) What are your plans for 2008? Music? Touring? Videos?
We begin recording a new album this summer and will probably do a few local shows before we go back to full on live mode once the record is released. We all have other projects going on so we have to fit everything in.

4) In the long term, what do you hope to accomplish with your music? Goals?
Our goals are to stay DIY and to reach as many people as we can. We want to travel and play in as many places in the world as will have us.
