4 Questions with 3 Kisses

Husband-wife team, Tish Meeks (lead vocals, guitar) and Tony Meeks (guitar) launched 3 Kisses in Austin, TX, in January 2004 and since that time the band has released 3 CDs, performed hundreds of live shows and played for crowds as large as 50,000. Tish and Tony Meeks were recently featured on ABC’s ‘Wife Swap’ performing for close to 15 million viewers. Tish took a few minutes to chat with us about No Lip Vol. 2 and their plans for 2009.
4 Questions with Wits End

Wits End was formed in the Conejo Valley region of Ventura County, CA and consists of songwriters Tom Robinson (vocals & rhythm guitar) and Joe Peters (bass), Carl Britton (drums) and lead guitarist & producer Ted Scarlett. Wits End is a mixture of classic guitar pop with first rate songwriting with a vibe all their own. A rarity in this age of disposable pop.
4 Questions with Bull Lee (2009)

Bull Lee is another repeat offender in the No Lip compilation series. Their true and decadent song “Fairfax Ave.” is an cautionary tale, named after the street in LA of the same name where many a people have gone to party for years to erode their better judgment. Co-writers John Dissed and BC Furtney took some time to chat with us about No lip Vol. 2 and their plans for 2009.
4 Questions with 900 Pound Gorilla (2009)

900 Pound Gorilla is back on No Lip Vol. 2 with a bad ass song called “Big Fat Limo”. 9PG is a hard-working LAX band that has high-energy punk rock songs and clever sing-along lyrics (for fans of old school Pennywise). John Baker, 9PG’s guitarist/vocalist, took a few minutes and talked with us about the LA music scene and their plans for 2009.

After nearly 10 years together, Miami-based funkprogpop quartet Outereach is armed with tight rhythms and heavenly melodies and is one of South Florida’s most dynamic rock acts. The band’s level of musicianship, creativity as songwriters and fan base has continued to grow and evolve alongside the development of Miami’s burgeoning art scene.
