4 Questions with New Skool Kings

New Skool Kings
Invoking power chord assaults reminiscent of Pennywise, Guttermouth and half the arsenal at Epitaph, New Skool Kings is keeping the attitude alive and moshing. With none of the members old enough to legally drink, NSK offers quick busts of  establishment-questioning and in-your-face-melting energy. Check them out on the road with Guttermouth this summer.

1) Why should people pay attention to your band?
New Skool Kings is honest. What you see and hear is what you get. We create songs that mirror our feelings and the current place in life we reside. With our youngest member 16 years old and our oldest 19 we have accomplished much and the future us ours.

2) Why did you decide to give Mohawk Bomb a try?
Being a young band you need to jump on any opportunity you can to promote your effort. MBR gave New Skool Kings a chance so we jumped on it.

3) What are your plans for 2008? Music? Touring? Videos?
2008 has brought New Skool Kings debut album “Here to Stay” (Itunes). We are going back into the studio with Keri Kelli of Alice Cooper to begin our next album. The Punk Rock staple band GUTTERMOUTH has invited New Skool Kings on a 13 show US tour which
kicks of July 17. Also released our second video “Drunkin Night” which was animated by David Suess and can be seen on YouTube.

4) In the long term, what do you hope to accomplish with your music? Goals?
Long term, shit!! We are just having fun and whatever comes our way from here on out is a bonus. It’s already been a crazy ride.
